REPORTING TO:  Executive Chef

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: •To follow the leadership of the Executive Chef, providing top quality a product that meets and exceeds guests’ expectations
•To produce the orders from the dining room and room service in timely and efficient manner
•Assisting to open or close the front line according to established procedures
•Preparation and set up of the line, having all mis en place according to prep list
•Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment
•Prepare and cook all orders according to standards, within the established time guidelines
•Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or designate
 
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•1 year of Culinary experience as a line cook in a busy environment
•Able to work early mornings
•Ability to work a restaurant line
•Strong organizational skills
•Positive attitude & team player a must
•Willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks
•Excellent attention to detail
•Ability to show initiative and handle problems without guidance
•Must be able to stand for 8 hours
•Must be flexible in availability, inclusive of weekends, days, evenings and required holidays
