The successful candidate for this integral, customer focused, revenue generating position will exude dedication to customer service and exceeding expectations.
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing food and beverage revenues, managing/yielding meeting space and ensuring both internal and external guests’ expectations are exceeded.  The client base of the business includes:   weddings, social events, guestrooms and meetings.
Excellent interpersonal skills, preferred fluent in English.
Must have ability to work under minimal supervision, priority deadlines and maintain a positive attitude within a busy environment.
Creative problem solving & Excellent time management skills
Leadership experience in fine dining or catering services required. 
Computer literacy required. Previous experience with Delphi and Opera or similar considered an asset.
Successful applicant must be an aggressive self-starter with excellent organization, presentation, customer service and communication skills.
Post-Secondary Education or Hospitality Certificate preferred
1-year experience in Conference & Catering Services or Sales an asset, with background in hotel operations.
Strong literacy skills both verbal and written
