Houseperson is responsible for the general cleaning of public area and other assigned areas. Houseperson has attention to detail, is team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that ALT Hotel standards are met. Houseperson must be able to adjust and work as a team player to ensure utmost guest satisfaction.
Daily Tasks and Responcibilities:
- Public area and guests floors cleanliness and tidiness
- Recognize and report all missing, damaged or sub-standard furniture, fixtures and equipment.
- Houseman is responsible for floor and wall cleaning, delivery of any guest requests, shampooing, and spot cleaning, interior window and mirror cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness of lobby, all public washrooms, fitness, guest corridors, guest and service elevators, stairwell, emergency exits by performing wall cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, baseboards and cleaning of all light fixtures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of Front and Back of Hotel, Administrative/Sales, Front and Housekeeping offices, Lunch room,staff washrooms, Fitness Room etc.
- Rotate and flip mattresses
- Stock supply areas
- Collect and delivery of soiled linen as per required
- Deliver cots, cribs, baby and dog amenities, etc. to guest rooms
- Move delivered products to correct locations.
- Move trash from public area and linen rooms, do recycling
- Clean the rooms if it’s needed
- Help in Laundry
- Other tasks or projects as assigned by the management of ALT Hotel
