Weekend Breakfast Cook The Hollis - A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Halifax, NS Job Description: As a Weekend Breakfast Chef at the The Hollis Halifax – a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton you will be responsible for preparing the “Wake Up DoubleTree” breakfast buffet program on the Weekends, and achieving brand and property standards and goals. Preparation and execution of the “Wake Up DoubleTree” breakfast buffet program Ensuring proper service and kitchen cleanliness Ensure the smooth and efficient operation all kitchen functions  Clear and concise pass-on communication with colleagues and leaders in the department Contribute to achieving the loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing warm personal service   Working closely with other departments to ensure exceptional service Ensure high morale and productivity levels through staff planning, training, development Work closely with all employees to achieve continuous learning & training Focus on consistent delivery of Hilton’s Vision, Mission, and Values by all Guest Services team members Promote hotel policies and procedures;  support internal networks i.e. Health & Safety   Job Requirements: Outstanding “yes we can attitude” Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team player Multi-tasking proficiency Ability to work with limited supervision  Positive and professional demeanor Post secondary education in Culinary Management or equivalent hotel experience an asset.
