JOB OVERVIEW: Coordinate the revenue management processes and procedures for assigned hotels to maximize each hotel’s room revenue. This is accomplished by managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls, developing, monitoring and adjusting sales and pricing strategies, analyze demand factors, forecasting, competitive analysis, and maintaining distribution channel data integrity.
Job Function 
·         Directly responsible for rate positioning using various tools to remain competitive within the market.
·         Responsible for Forecasting Accuracy.
·         Directly responsible for controlling room inventory, availability and overselling limits of the hotels on a daily basis in efforts to maximize all hotels occupancy and revenue.
·         Directly managing online Rooms content in all websites that sell or market.
·         Maximize RevPAR by analyzing past trends and future demand forecast to set/adjust sales strategies designed to increase market share, RevPAR growth and optimize market mix.
·         Generate daily, weekly, monthly revenue management reports.
·         Facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings.
·         Analyze and optimize distribution channels for maximum benefit of penetration.
·         Develop strategies by market segment.
·         Consistent review of sales booking system reports, including the GRC and Backlog Reports.
·         Monitor all distribution channels to ensure content accuracy, rate parity and pricing integrity.
·         Develop relationships with vendors and Internet wholesalers to accomplish revenue goals and negotiate placement for hotels.
·         Work closely with the sales and e-commerce department to create eNewsletters, hotel packages, and other marketing related efforts.
·         Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls.
·         Provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factor.
·         Reviews and analyzes each property performance using various reports, and evaluates and actions immediately where changes can be made to achieve desired revenue.
·         Stays current on trends in revenue management field and exchange information with brand partners, and market managers.
·         Develop relationships with vendors and Internet wholesalers to accomplish revenue goals and negotiate placement for hotels.
·         Loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS, working with the property.
·         Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained.
·         Understand the reservations process including the distribution channels and reservations flow.
·         Identify marketing opportunities and work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop programs for the hotels, particularly focused on distressed periods.
·         Communicate with Front Office regarding anticipated occupancy and cross-selling opportunities.
·         Contribute to the development of the marketing plan.
·         Review competitive shops for each hotel and identify selling strategies and market trends.
·         Review Demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators.
·         Standard Qualifications:
·         Four year degree or equivalent experience
·         Two years of revenue management experience
·         Hilton certified would be an asset  
·         Proficient with computerized systems; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Revenue Management Systems.
·         Ability to gather, compare, analyze and present data.
·         Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.
