GENERAL DESCRIPTION Banquet table set-up, serving meals for table service and buffett service, bussing dishes after all services and general cleaning duties as assigned. Lunch services inside meeting rooms Cocktail and wine service to guests. Able to carry oval trays of 10 meals Follow all DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Food & Beverage Standards. Suggestively up sell. Exceed the expectations of all guests through empowerment, responding attentively, efficiently and politely to all requests. Help create a positive work environment. Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by reporting all safety hazards, following WHMIS and Fire safety training, and working in a safe manner. Hours could range from 10 to 40 hours per week depending on Business levels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Energetic and outgoing individual who is well organized and can perform multiple tasks. Display a professional, friendly manner and be committed to providing exceptional guest service. Reliable and flexible to varied work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays) Able to lift objects in excess of 25 lbs. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol .
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous Food and Beverage Serving experience preferred. Banquet experience preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma with Secondary Education preferred.
