Essential Functions:
- Customer service oriented
- Registering arriving guests and assigning rooms
- Process guest departures
- Processing telephone calls
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Provide information on points of interest in surrounding area and providing directions
- Secure guest valuables
- Process guest wake up calls
- Store and retrieve guest luggage
- Ensuring that all required paperwork is completed daily
- Investigate and resolve guest concerns in an empathetic and service focused manner
- Calculate charges and receive payments
- Positive, outgoing team player at all times
- Ensuring Marriott Policies and Procedures are followed at all times
- Know hotel emergency procedures
- Must be able to multi task
- Accommodate guest requests courteously
- Confirm information and correct new reservations as necessary
- Work with minimal or no direct supervision
- Complete basic assignments from other departments
- Must be able to handle a variety of people in a variety of states in a professional manner
- Highly detail oriented
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, while standing for long periods of time. Must have great attention to detail, operate in an organized and efficient manner, and be alert and attentive to property.
