RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise, lead, empower and coach the Guest Service Team to ensure all service standards and procedures are adhered to in order to maximize guest service, revenue, efficiency and employee morale.  Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform active role of Guest Service Representative as required
• Lead by example and support team in providing excellent guest service,
• Provide effective day to day communication and shift briefings with Guest Service team
• Ensure that all departmental programs, service standards, policies and procedures are followed consistently and accurately, according to Atlantica and  standards
• Act as Manager on Duty when required
• Provide employees with on-going support, coaching and feedback
• Empower staff to make decisions to exceed guests’ expectations
• Provide new employee training
• Assist the Rooms Division Manager with achieving quarterly objectives and up-sell targets
• Address all guest related concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Complete and follow up on all reports required
• Complete daily Special Attention List, as required
• Completion of Full Circle Service Forms, as required
• Work with Employees to maximize revenue
• Payroll submission as required
• Other duties as assigned by Rooms Division Manager

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Post secondary education in a recognized Tourism/Hospitality or equivalent experience is an asset
• Two years in a supervisory/lead role an asset
• Knowledge of property management systems (Opera) an asset
• CPR/First Aid certification is strongly preferred
• Previous Manager on Duty Experience an asset
• Strong leadership skills
• Decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to motivate and positively influence others
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts inclusive of evenings, weekends and holidays
