WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As Cluster Sales Manager, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Implement sales techniques / principles as set out in the Holiday Inn Sales Training and though Holiday Inn loyalty programs
- As per defined sales territory, pro-actively sells all hotels in the cluster
- Coordination and implementation of the segment sales activities and set strategy with the aim of optimal room occupancy and high accommodation revenues
- Communication of sales promotions and information
- Develop relationships and partnership with key accounts, prospect account and other accounts in the determined territory or beyond
- Planning, coordination and implementing of all sales trips with the Director of Sales
- Identification of potential new accounts
- Support Director of Sales in preparation and drawing up of company contracts for the hotels
- Generate leads for the hotels, monitoring the offers and be actively involved in the follow up to increase conversion in close cooperation with the Groups, Conferences & Events and Reservation departments
- To present the Holiday Inn & Suites hotels in the respective communities in a professional manner.
- Coordinate any required administrative work in terms of reporting of figures, account forecasts and drawing up account development plans
- To reach agreed goals and to deliver incremental revenue for all hotels within the D.P. Murphy Hotel Portfolio
- Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in drawing up analysis of competitors (rates, trends, customers, and product changes) and market statistics

- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
- Quantitative processing of data via office machine equipment, mathematical computations and analytical skills
- Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal programs
- Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have a minimum of two (2) year experience in a similar role
