POSITION(s): Host (ess) 4-5 days per week 6:30am-12pm
   
REPORTING TO: Restaurant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Greet guests warmly and assign seating
  • Assist servers when required
  • Up-sell when required
  • Promote teamwork, friendliness and courtesy
  • Complete tasks as assigned by Manager
  • Ensure work area is clean and organized at all times
  • Provide a positive customer service experience in all interactions with guests
  • Able to work various shifts including holidays.
 
 
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Nova Scotia and practice responsible beverage service
  • Previous service experience an asset
  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar environment an asset
  • Previous Food and Beverage experience an asset
  • Positive, professional attitude and presentation
  • Enthusiastic and well spoken
