Tour Coordinator/Planner
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for coordinating group tour inquiries for Atlantic Canada and surrounding areas (Eastern US seaboard and & Central Canada)
You will determine clients’ specifications and suggest and coordinate suitable group travel services
Develop itineraries
Prepare costings and provide quotes
Develop and provide contracts
Book motor coach, hotels and ferries
Follow up with clients on a regular basis
Represent Atlantic Tours & Travel at trade shows if required
You will have the following skills:
Tourism & Travel background/experience
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
Motivation and ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
Positive “can do” attitude
Professional manner and appearance
