We currently have an opening for a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator.
 
 The main function of the H.R. Coordinator is to assist with a variety of Human Resources functions. Controls the recruitment process for line employees.  Monitors and maintains organization of daily office activity such as paper work, employee needs, and management requests.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Human Resources certificate/diploma completed or in process required
• Business/Commerce degree preferred
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Long hours sometimes required.

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment.
• Type memos and other correspondence.
• Check applications packages to ensure they are completed
• Process background checks
• Prepare and photocopy orientation packages.
• Prepare name tags as required.
• Answer questions regarding H.R. related concerns.
• Maintain and process employee reservations requests.
• Prepare job postings and process position requisitions.
• Assist with new hire orientation process
• Maintain and process employee birthday cards program.
• Track Name Mention Recognition award recipients.
• Perform reception duties.
• Ensure filing is up to date. Maintain Human Resources files.
• Track employee referral program, employee satisfaction surveys, new hire paperwork and exit routing slips
• Open mail daily. Process outgoing mail daily.
• Update/monitor employee bulletin boards.
• Write articles and take pictures for newsletter.
• Assist with payroll system implementation project
• Assist with special projects: planning employee events, meetings, picnic, parties.
• Other duties as required.
