Each of our 262 guest rooms and suites are fully automated with lights, temperature, and fan regulators all accessed through the Allure in-room wall control, iPhone, Android, or manually. Our fully equipped fitness centre, on-site Chop Steakhouse & Bar, and underground parking are a few of the amenities that provide the ultimate in service, comfort, and style unique to our well-appointed location.

Front Desk Agent

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will consistently provide a warm welcome and exceptional experiences to our guests in a prompt and courteous manner within the framework of hotel and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Check-in and check-out services
  • Answering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests and assisting in resolving and concerns or issues in person or on the telephone
  • Providing information to guests about the hotel and the surrounding area
  • Maintaining and securing a cash float for guest transactions and currency exchange; participating in upsell programs to ensure maximum profitability
  • Adhere to all established credit and inventory control procedures
  • Present statement of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Identify and record special billing instructions and notify Accounting
  • Minimize loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures
  • Ensure the security of keys, company and guest information
  • Accurate and secure gathering of guest information and use of computerized equipment and property management system
  • Assisting with emergency response as required
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual, with a minimum 2 years previous customer service experience.
  • The successful candidate must have proven, exceptional guest service and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent at a luxury property a definite asset
  • Flexibility in shifts is essential, as evening shifts will be required.
  • Position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA (or similar) and additional languages are an asset.
