Position Description
At Quality Inn Halifax Airport Hotel, we believe our guests select our hotel because of our employees who foster traditional Maritime Hospitality and who are dedicated to providing personalized service and meaningful experiences.   Our supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills.  They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities.  This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and training.  Hotel Duty Managers lead the agents whom are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. Position Requirements
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.  Refined verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to stand for long periods of time.  The availability to work a variety of shifts with days off that vary from week to week, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, including Sunday’s, and holidays as required.  Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations is considered an asset.  Bilingualism or multilingualism considered an asset.  Previous hotel experience preferred.
