| The DoubleTree by Hilton Halifax Dartmouth is looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join the team. Night Auditors are responsible for anticipating & delivering exceptional guest experiences. They are also responsible for the overnight operation of the Front Desk, balancing and posting daily charges to customer folios, master accounts, and house accounts and makes corrections as necessary. The successful candidate will work 8-hour shifts, 11pm-7am. Previous Front Desk and/or Night Audit Experience is required. Previous Hilton and OnQ PMS Experience would be considered an asset Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Prepare, check, and correct room rate variances by conducting thorough audits · Ensure wake-up calls are accurately set for the morning · Verify and balance daily charges to customer folios, master accounts, and house accounts and make corrections as necessary · Balance the guest ledger postings · Audit all Restaurant, Catering and Conference Center pills before posting · Review all credit card transactions for proper authorizations and correct amounts · Run computer through nightly processing; running room & tax processing sequences to reset for next-day use · Distribute reports to the applicable departments · Maintain an active knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures · Other projects/duties as assigned and required Education & Qualifications: · High School Diploma or equivalent · Minimum 2-3 years in hotel guest services environment · Previous Night Audit Experience is an asset · Proficient in use of computers, with knowledge of MS Office, Windows and Opera an asset · Must possess high motivational skills with the ability to lead with little supervision Working Conditions: · The successful candidate will work full time on overnight shifts (11pm – 7am) · Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance · Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time We thank all applicants for their interest, only candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $16.50 per hour Benefits:
