Oceanstone Resort is a little slice of seaside heaven, just down the road from Peggy’s Cove.  This restaurant, versatile venue and collection of coastal accommodations offers a stunning backdrop for events, local food experiences and making memories.  We are thrilled to announce that a word-class Hydrothermal Spa is currently under development at our resort.

Summary of Responsibilities:
 
Reporting to the General Manager, Guest Services Lead and Operations Supervisors, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
 
  • Check guests in and out of the resort with warm and engaging service
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Energetic individual who can prioritize several diverse tasks concurrently
  • Polished communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve any guest issues
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours to include holidays, evenings, etc.
  • Must have the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately
  
Qualifications:
 
  • Proven ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and exceed expectations
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions
  • Familiar with Microsoft Windows applications and basic computer knowledge
