Duties and responsibilities:
In addition to completing a fair share of guest room cleaning and preparation, the member will
assume ownership of the day-to-day housekeeping operation. They will assess and
troubleshoot daily concerns, act as leader and resource for the more junior housekeeping team
members and as housekeeping liaison to other hotel departments.
They will be accountable to Management for overall guestroom order, cleanliness and the
smooth daily operation of the housekeeping department.
Other Responsibilities
Training of new housekeeping members
Notify of any linen, chemical or amenity needs.
Complete weekly supply and cleaning inventory
Complete arrival inspections daily
Notify of any maintenance concerns
Administer lost and found system
Prepare housekeeping schedule
Maintain clean, safe and well organized work areas
