Job description
Job responsibilities for our Retail and Office Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating the retail/tasting area
- Perform tastings and tours
- Make cocktails for tasting flights
- Operate POS for cash/credit/debit transactions
- Maintain overall retail / tasting area cleanliness (cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, dusting, etc.)
- Production work (bottling, labelling, cleaning) if required
- Office administration duties; spreadsheets, filing, data entry, answering phones, scheduling tours, inventory systems management, integration of operating systems/platforms
- Procurement for office, retail and production areas
- Communicating with wholesale customers and providing them with quotes, invoices and receipts
- Packing shipping and licensee orders
- Transportation logistics
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain professional visibility both inside and outside of the distillery (clearing entrances of any snow or debris, general cleaning, etc)
- Represent the distillery at outside events and markets - if required
- Willing to expand your scope of work as we continue to grow
Applicant qualifications include:
- * Must be 19 years of age or older*
- **MUST BE LOCATED IN NOVA SCOTIA**
- Basic Food Safety, First Aid/CPR, and Serve Right certification are an asset
- Previous beverage / tourism industry experience a huge asset
- Knowledge of spirits, liqueurs and alcohol is an asset
- Serving experience an asset
- Required to work weekends. A flexible schedule that may include 6 days a week during peak seasons. Evenings are sometimes required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
